  • What is Clean Beauty?

  • What does Cruelty Free mean?

Cruelty free means that they are free from animal cruelty and refers to those products that have not been tested on animals. We can identify these kind if products thanks to the seals developed for their identification.

  • Why can't a nail polish be organic?

A product is considered organic when 85% of its ingredients are of natural origin and organically grown. The components of a nail polish are mainly chemical, both the pigments and the substances that allow the product to fix. Nail polishes can contain ingredients of organic origin such as silicon, aloe vera and vegetable oils and extracts, among others. Furthermore, it is possible to avoid in its formulation the use of toxic components such as toluene, formaldehyde and camphor.

  • What is the PAO of the product?

PAO is the acronym for Period After Opening, that is, the useful life of a cosmetic product from its first opening. It is represented by the symbol of a jar with an open lid and the printing of a number that indicates the months or years, as the preferred date of use.

  • What toxic ingredients do our enamels contain?

HMB enamels do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde and derivatives, Acetone, Phthalates, Petrochemical Solvents, Polyurethane and Polyurethane Coatings, Mercury, Parabens, Camphor, Xylene, FD&C, Lead, Tar, Hydrocarbons and Perfumes. In addition, they are free of Gluten and Wheat derivatives, and are formulated with Breathable technology, allowing the nails to breathe.

  • Why is our nail polish remover free of acetone?

Acetone is a colorless, chemical, pungent odor solvent commonly used to speed up removal of nail polish. Repeated use of products that contain Acetone can cause irritation, weakness and dryness in the nails. HMB nail polish remover is formulated with non-harmful ingredients, such as citrus extracts, on an oily base that preserves its hydration.

  • Why should we use a primer before applying nail polish?

Applying a base appropriate to the condition of the nails will protect them, improve the fixation of the subsequent enamel and, in some cases, provide specific treatment to the nails, such as hardness, hydration and flexibility, among others.
